Off The Ramp
The Ohio State University, Summer 2010
Production -- End of the year exhibit, Banvard Gallery
A student assembled zine
Off The Ramp was one of a number of mock-up publications using distinguished student work from the 2009-2010 academic year at the Knowlton School of Architecture. Responding to the question, "Why doesn't the KSA have any publications?" the Production exhibit aimed at visualizing different designs for school publications.

Presented as a student assembled zine, Off The Ramp aims at exposing a raw, personal look into the lives of both students and faculty at the Knowlton School of Architecture. Composed of vibrant imagery and chronicles of experiences at the School, this publication not only broadcasts a unique vision of the KSA, but also unites the School itself through constant interaction.
As an evolving documentation of the experiences inside Knowlton Hall, Off The Ramp is intended to be an affordable, compelling publication that may be printed quarterly, offering a current look into KSA work, culture, and events. In addition to the work, students and faculty are encouraged to write about classes, studio trips, late night music playlists, editorials, movies, meetings, all-night sessions...

Off The Ramp should not only inform those on the outside, but should also be a voice for those on the inside. The Knowlton School of Architecture has a unique, dynamic culture worth sharing with the masses. Off The Ramp provides a stimulating platform for students and faculty to share that culture and participate in the larger dialogue between architecture schools around the world.
